Yes, and it is one capability rather than three products. We write the logic that connects your instruments, systems, and data sources, then serve it securely. Take the API into your own system, or have us host it for you with a front end to work in. Hosting comes with the API, so it is the same connection either way.

The Omni Product Line
Yes. PragOptics, our hardware and software group, builds the Omni product line of published field hardware. Buy it assembled, or build it free from the published schematic, BOM, and print-ready case files.
- OmniSource™, a pocket loop-power supply. Released.
- OmniPulse™, a HART communicator without loop power or milliamp measurement. In development, arriving ahead of OmniBus.
- OmniBus™, a vendor-agnostic HART communicator and calibration recorder. Expected Q4 2027.
OmniBus carries Bluetooth, iOS app integration, standalone field operation, calibration datalogging over HTTPS, a local WiFi hotspot up to 150 Mbps, GPS location tracking, and OptiBeacon™ support from Q4 2028.

Can you design and build custom hardware for a project?
Custom Hardware Design & Build
Yes. PragOptics designs and builds custom field-data devices, control boards, and enclosures, from a one-off proof of concept through a short production batch. That covers schematic capture, PCB layout, board bring-up, firmware, enclosure design, and assembly.
The Omni product line is the open-hardware example of that work.
Do you do 3D printing or short-run production parts?
MSLA Resin Printing & Short-Run Production
Yes. We run MSLA (masked stereolithography) printing in photopolymer resin, which suits parts needing fine feature detail and a smooth surface finish: prototypes, custom enclosures, jigs and fixtures, replacement components, and short batch runs.
Can you write custom control logic for a machine or process?
Function & Control Logic
Yes. We develop function and control logic for custom projects, whether you are commissioning something new or replacing logic on equipment already in service. That covers PLC and DCS logic across major OEM platforms, motor, relay and interlock logic, PID tuning, safety instrumented functions, and custom sequence logic for one-off machines.
Can you fix an intermittent or unexplained measurement problem?
Diagnostics & Hard-to-Measure Applications
Yes. This is some of our most requested work: readings that drift, wander, or fail only intermittently, and products that are genuinely hard to measure.
Most of these are not instrument failures. They are the process meeting an instrument that was never matched to it, such as product flashing across an orifice, low-density solids that radar sees through, coating, foam, entrained gas, or stratification. We work out whether the device you already own can be made reliable through mounting, ranging, or configuration, or whether the technology genuinely cannot see your product, and we give you the reasoning either way. Can I use your software to build things myself?
The PragOptics Platform
That is the goal. The PragOptics platform, now in development, puts our own workflow in your hands: design your own hardware, write and test your own function logic against real hardware, build and publish web apps, and clean up and visualize your data. Your own Field Node Manager, running your logic instead of ours. It runs in the browser, with a cloud option that provisions environments and storage once an account is active.
