The habit that beats a rumor
Before you believe it or share it, ask three quick things:
1. Who said it first? Trace it to the original source, not the person who reposted it.
2. Does anyone reliable confirm it? Look for it from a place that has to get it right.
3. When is it from? Old stories get dressed up as new all the time.
The rule: trace before you trust. And never be the one who passes a rumor along.
